Last day of summer vacation

Most people are heading back to school this time of year…Me too! I was downtown St. Charles looking for stores to place my jewelry at. I met a lady whose daughter was heading off to University of Mississippi. Well, this is what I made for her daughter. It is a gift from her mom before she heads off to college. It is blue and red Swarovski crystals and sterling silver accents. I hope this daughter treasures this gift from her mom forever! I am thankful my jewelry can be used for such special occasions.

Last Class Before School Starts!

Wow…school starts in less than a week!

Would you join me for one last class before I have to go back to school?

Here is what we will be making:

Blue flowered heart pendant with brown Czech glass, aqua Swarovski crystals, and black glass beads accented with silver spacers. $50

Pink and green glass pearl necklace accented with silver spacers. Available in many color combinations including pink, green, blue, purple, aqua, brown, white, and black. I would love to help you design your own unique necklace. $35

Make a matching pair of earrings for either necklace for $15. (Yes, I can help you design those too!)

My next class is going to be on Monday, August 16 from 1-3pm at Hobby Lobby.

Head to Toe Class

The summer is well under way and will be gone in the blink of an eye. I was just over at Hobby Lobby yesterday and the craft room is a great place to cool down and dry the sweat off your back. (sorry, that was gross, wasn’t it?)

Not to be detoured – Moving on!

Tools: All you need to bring is YOU!

I supply all the tools you will need! (it’s a loan – I do want my tools back)

Come to Hobby Lobby this Friday, July 9, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

Prices are as follows and include all materials:

Stretch Bracelet $20.00 (this one you wear on your wrist)

Stretch Ankle Bracelet $25.00 (I suppose that is self-explanatory)

Earrings $15.00

At Friday’s class you can choose to make one, two or all three. Grandma’s make bracelets and Grand-daughters make ankle bracelets. Earrings all around! Hope you can make it!

Please let me know if you’ll be attending, it really helps me with my inventory requirements. If you know what you want to make, that’s helpful as well.

I want to say a GREAT BIG “Thank YOU” to my Grandma who makes these classes possible. She does just an incredible job of scheduling classes and calling folks; without her, I don’t believe I’d still be able to do all this. Not to mention all the running around she does to post signs, make sure the example sets are in the jewelry case, oh, and then hounds my Daddy relentlessly to get these emails out to you. THANKS GRANDMA PAT!

On that note, this is a great way for mothers and daughters to work together; grandmas and grand-daughters to have a project for themselves. So mothers and grandmothers grab your youngins (or the other way around) and come out to learn how to do this for yourself. I really think you’ll enjoy it! Unable to make this Friday? Illusion – White Shell and Czech Glass

It’s No Illusion | You Can Build this Illusion Necklace!

My Favorite Magician is David Copperfield

Come out to Hobby Lobby Monday, June 21, or Friday, June 25, to string a beautiful illusion necklace. Don’t worry, it is really a necklace, not just an illusion! Monday we’ll be working with three sizes of Czech beads with some glass teardrops to complete the design.

So there will be NO ILLUSION, you will be able to make this piece. The magic is all in the teacher, ME! That along with the agreement I have with Hobby Lobby which clearly states if someone doesn’t complete their project in the alloted time they have agreed to stay open 24 hours per day for as many days as it takes to complete the project. Fortunately, for everyone, that plan has not been needed thus far.

Tools: All you need to bring is YOU!

I supply all the tools you will need!

Come to Hobby Lobby this coming Monday, June 21, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Unable to make that class or is Friday better for you? Well, let’s do another class on Friday, June 25, beginning at 1:00pm and ending around 3:00pm. Price for the class is $28.00 (includes all materials).

More Sophisticated? How about White Shell?

Friday’s class will focus on using white shell in several different shapes with crystal AB glass for some sparkle. I’m really excited to see you there, and I promise the jewelry won’t disappear! Hope you can make it!

It happens all the time and at almost every class I hold. Somebody becomes instantly overwhelmed at the complexity of the materials placed in front of them and they exclaim, “I’ll NEVER be able to do this!” Well, it’s not that I’m the kind of person who has to be right all the time, but every single time, bar none, the mission is accomplished successfully!
